On Saturday, April 4, the Rotary Club of Edmonds Daybreakers will be hosting the Edmonds Easter Egg Hunt at the Francis Anderson Field, 700 Main St. Kids from 3 to 10 years old are welcome to join the fun of hunting for their share of thousands of chocolate eggs, candy and special prizes.

Festivities will begin at 10 a.m. with the first flight of egg hunters taking the field shortly thereafter. This year there will be three age-based groupings:

  • 3- and 4-Year-Olds
  • 5-, 6- and 7-Year-Olds
  • 8, 9 and 10-Year-Olds

Once again the Easter Bunny will be roaming the field to say hello and take pictures with kids, young and old.  Snohomish County Fire District 1 will also be on hand with giving tours of their trucks and ambulance.

Those attending the event are encouraged to pack their Easter baskets with a non-perishable food donation for the Edmonds Food Bank. The Edmonds Daybreakers Rotary Club and the Edmonds Rotary Club will be the stationed at the East and West ends of the field collecting these donations during the event.

The rain or shine event is being supported by Jamie and Sarah Reece of Windermere Real Estate with additional support from the Snohomish County Fire District 1 and the Rotary Club of Edmonds.
