Mayor Dave Earling and city staff will host a community discussion with a question-and-answer session and an update from Swedish/Edmonds on its campus expansion project at the first Town Hall meeting of 2015 — on Thursday, July 9, from 6:30-8:30 .pm. The event will take place in the Swedish Edmonds 4th Floor Auditorium at 21601 76th Ave. W.
Along with the mayor, city directors will also be in attendance and will provide brief presentations. The meeting is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be provided. Community members are invited to attend to discuss current issues relating to the area, ask questions and provide feedback.
“These Town Hall meetings play a critical role in my ongoing mission to improve communications between government and community, “Earling said. “My staff and I look forward to these opportunities at our Town Halls to engage with the community and offer direct feedback on current topics of interest in our area.”
More meetings are being planned for later in the year at other locations throughout the city and will focus on issues related to those areas.
