On Saturday the Edmonds Floretum Garden Club set up its information table on Main Street in front of the recently re-opened Fabric of Life store, where club members provided expert answers to garden questions.

The most common question Saturday: How do I protect my plants during the current heat wave?

Answer: Keep them well watered!

An Edmonds institution since 1922, Floretum promotes knowledge of horticulture, the art of floral and landscape design, conservation of natural resources, the beautification of Edmonds, and above all the love of gardening. Among their many activities, club members volunteer time to plant the downtown corner gardens, and the scores of hanging flower baskets. Learn more here.
