This Saturday, June 20, we open the 21st year of the Edmonds Summer Market. As we are opening one week earlier than usual, we want to thank all of the residents of Edmonds who have made this such a wonderful summer tradition.
Returning this season are many of our favorite family farmers, like Caruso Farm, Flying Tomato, Collins Family Orchards, Tonnemakers, Martin Family Orchards, Youngquist and Hayton Berry Farms. For meat and eggs, you will find old friends like Sky Valley, Ramsden Beef, and Martiny Livestock. New this year is a small Snohomish farm, Bright Ides, that specializes in eggs and Poultry. Stop by and welcome them on Bell Street.
Returning to the market after a year away is Lopez Island Vineyard. This season they will have limited tasting at their booth, located on the lower section of Bell Street. For baked goods, we welcome Aura Bakery, new to our market, they will be located where Celebrations has been for so many seasons. They will be joining Sweet Pearl, Snohomish Bakery and Great Harvest with tasty treats for all to enjoy.
Whether berries, cherries, eggs, fish, veggies or flowers, you will find a wonderful selection at the market this week along with so many talented producers of jam, sauces, pickles and more. While you are shopping for goodies, don’t forget to check out all the wonderful artists and crafters who bring such diversity to the market every week.
So make a day of it, grab something delicious from Falafel Salam, Drumming Up Wontons, Riverhouse Crepes or check out our newest food vendor, Patty Pan, and we will see you at the market, now on Bell and 5th, Saturdays through Oct. 3, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
