Enjoy a special evening of relaxation during ladies henna night at Fabric of Life, 519 Main St., from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22.
The fair trade boutique will be serving finger foods and adult beverages while you enjoy the soothing application of henna by artist Meghan Kaloper. Henna services start at $20 for simple designs or up to $50 for more complex designs.
While you enjoy your henna, Fabric of Life will have art activities for your children supervised by certified child care volunteers. Reservations are required for child care because there is a limit of 15 children. To make your reservation, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call Carol Schillios at 425-478-6711.
While you are there, you can shop for unique gifts from over 1,000 low-income global artisans. Because the store is run by volunteers, your purchase supports girls going from begging to skilled artisan.
