The Edmonds City Park Sunday concert series kicks off Sunday, July 12 and the Ballard Sedentary Sousa Band will bring their own party with them from 3-4 p.m.
Seattle’s own non-marching marching band, plays the greatest hits of John Philip Sousa, Henry Fillmore and more. Throughout the show you can expect appearances by the band’s Drill Team, rousing storytelling by clarinetist and band director, Liz Dreisbach and the world’s only Sedentary Majorette performing thrilling feats of seated baton twirling.
Over the years the group has entertained huge crowds at the grand re-opening of Seattle’s King Street Station, Alaska Yukon Pacific Expo, Pike Place Market and the 1909 Ocean-to-Ocean Model T Endurance Contest Re-enactment. Go to www.sedentarysousa.com for more information.
