For the second year in a row, Arnie’s Restaurant Chef Bill Pennington and his staff, Carlos Vasquez and Charles Manley, delighted the lucky winners who bid on a private hosted dinner benefiting the Edmonds Center for the Arts. Even the weather was perfect (if not a bit too warm) Saturday night for the beach-themed deck party hosted by Rock and Maggie Peterson.

Manley whipped up a wonderful Pomegranate Mojito to get the evening started. As usual, Chef Pennington went over the top and dazzled the guests with a six-course menu. The main event was an amazing stuffed Dungeness crab with stuffed risotto artichoke and a variety of vegetables, to give the plate an “under the sea” look.

Arnie’s and Pennington generously donated all the food, wine and cocktails, as well as their talent and hard work.

Private hosted dinners are a big draw at the annual ECA Arts Gala and Auction, and there will be plenty up for bid again this year. If you are interested in attending the auction on Oct. 3, 2015, contact Amy Stone at amy@ec4arts.org for tickets.
