It was a gala evening at the Edmonds Center for the Arts Wednesday evening as more than 100 guests gathered for the 20th annual Edmonds in Bloom awards ceremony, honoring the top residential, business and civic gardens in Edmonds. Special guest this year Ciscoe Morris, who helped judge the 1996 Edmonds in Bloom awards, regaled the group with his memories of the early years of Edmonds in Bloom, his world travels, and a host of garden trivia.

Morris appears regularly on TV and radio, and his book, “Ask Ciscoe,” remains a best seller.
