More than 50 citizens who serve as volunteers on various City of Edmonds boards, commissions and committees were honored Sunday at the annual Volunteer Appreciation Picnic in City Park. Hosted by the members of the City Council, who prepare and serve the food, the annual event is a special expression of thanks to the citizens who donate their talents, expertise and countless hours of their time to serve their community.

More than 50 citizens, councilmembers and others attended this year's event.

  1. Thank you Council for making this a great event. Very special thanks to the 3 sponsors who helped make it all possible. Coldwell Banker, The Hotel Group and IGA.
