What’s new at the Edmonds Museum Summer Market: early pears, late berries — and maybe holiday shopping?

Edmonds-Historical-Museum_Summer-Market_Logo-TanAfter enjoying a wonderful week off, our vendors are rested and ready to return to the market this Saturday with a full complement of fruits, veggies, meats, jams, sauces and treats.

Free stone peaches, nectarines, apples, plums and even some early pears will be founds at many of our fruit vendors, as well as late season blackberries and raspberries! Come early for the best selection of these, as they will go fast.

As far as veggies, look for a diverse selection of tomatoes, peppers (both hot and sweet), cucumbers, broccoli, squash, eggplants and more. So many delicious tastes to combine and roast on the barbecue with some chicken breasts or lamb chops from our market farmers.

Don’t forget to pick up a lovely bouquet of dahlias! The colors and varieties seem to be endless, so find the right one for you or your special someone.

Finally, with the beginning of the school season just around the corner, it’s about time to start thinking of holiday gifts. Take some time to wander through the market and start your holiday lists! Whether for yourself or someone else, we are only here for seven more weeks, so start shopping now.

See you at the market!
