EPIC literary group welcomes author Jenn Youngblood to the Edmonds Library on Monday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m. as part of the weekly speakers series. Seating is limited to the first 20 people and takes place after 10 a.m. Monday morning writing group with Janette Turner.
Jenn Youngblood’s talk, Story Thinking, Story Telling, will offer tips to writers. “Story Thinking is whole brain thinking,” said Youngblood. “It is a way to develop and express our stories that is layered, textural, multidimensional, complex, and rich. By learning and practicing Story Thinking, we become better Story Tellers and move our audiences, listeners, and readers on a whole new level. Story Thinking can be applied across functions, genres, and demographics to expand the reach, resonance, and power of your story.”
The event is free. To learn more about free literary events around town, see the EPIC Group nonprofit website.
