“Two miscues and a great opportunity is the difference,” Edmonds-Woodway coach Bill LeCompte told our online news partner, The Seattle Times.  A season ago, Edmonds-Woodway started slowly, as well. The Warriors went just 3-3 in their first six games. But Edmonds-Woodway didn’t lose again en route to the title.

“I’m not overly concerned with the result,” LeCompte said. “It’s how we progressed throughout the game.”
