Volunteers gathered at Edmonds United Methodist Church Friday to prepare for the church’s annual Edmonds Food Bank Toy Shop event happening Saturday, Dec. 5. Thanks to the generosity of church and community volunteers, each participating parent receives a brand-new toy, a gently-used toy, two books, and holiday gift wrapping, so that they can surprise their children with holiday presents.
