The 18th annual Edmonds Senior Center Health Fair on Friday drew more than 600 attendees to an array of health-related information booth offering everything from information to free cancer screenings. And with complimentary lunch provided by Fairwinds-Brighton Court, the event took on a festive air.

“We’ve been doing this for 18 years now,” said Michelle Burke, Senior Center Activities Manager. “In addition to providing a wealth of information to local seniors, selling booth space makes it a major fundraiser for us.”

Burke projects that the Senior Center will take in approximately $17,000 from this year’s event.
