700 block Melody Lane: An adult male got into a verbal argument with his girlfriend.

7800 block 228th Street Southwest: A wallet and checks were stolen during a vehicle prowl overnight.

10100 block Edmonds Way: A suspect stole items from the Goodwill store.

9300 block 244th Street Southwest: A woman went to change her cable company and learned she was the victim of identity theft, with a subject using her name and showing a Wenatchee address.

22500 block Highway 99: Shoplifting was reported at Rite Aid.

7900 block 240th Street Southwest: Suspect was given a warning after trespassing at an abandoned house.

21700 84th Avenue West: Police responded to a report of a mentally disabled person out of control with staff at a facility.

6900 block 176th Street Southwest: Two vehicles had their windshields damaged after being shot with what appeared to be BB guns.

7300 block 213th Street Southwest:  A fight occurred between two men, possibly gang related.

600 block Admiral Way: A man hit another person’s car with his fist, causing damage.

8500 block 242nd Street Southwest: An unknown suspect damaged victim’s mailbox and stole mail. The suspect later attempted to cash a check from the victim.

22800 block Edmonds Way: A juvenile runaway left the house without authorization and went to his mother’s house in Des Moines. He then refused to come home.

24100 block Highway 99: A roof-top commercial burglary was reported.

July 20

22200 block Highway 99: Police responded to a verbal domestic disturbance.

7800 block 240th Street Southwest: A vehicle prowl occurred overnight.

240th Street Southwest/78th Avenue West: Mail was found scattered near the Interurban Trail entrance.

9500 block 244th Street Southwest: A man reported a stolen car and that he had failed to transfer the title.

18500 block 82nd Avenue West: A job site trailer parked on the side of a residence under renovation was broken into. Suspect(s) cut the padlock and stole hand/power tools between 7 p.m. July 18 and 9 a.m. July 19.

100 block 5th Avenue South: A downtown Edmonds business was burglarized during the early morning hours.

21100 block 72nd Avenue West: Animal neglect complaint by another animal shelter director in Friday Harbor who had received two labrador mix dogs that were boarded by a woman at an Edmonds dog shelter.

8600 block 240th Street Southwest: A vehicle prowl occurred overnight.

24300 block 76th Avenue West: A bicycle was stolen from in front of business.

8700 block 242nd Street Southwest: Money was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the driveway.

300 block Main Street: Two people were arguing and claiming assault, but police found no proof of an assault.

23500 block 94th Avenue West: A suspicious man was seen running through a neighbor’s backyard.

23400 block 74th Avenue West: Victim left vehicle unlocked and items were stolen from inside.

21900 block Highway 99: Theft of wallet, credit cards reported from shopping cart in store parking lot.

21600 Highway 99: Police responded to an argument between an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend.

22600 block 88th Avenue West: Police responded to a report of a verbal domestic disturbance.

21500 block Highway 99: A subject was arrest on warrants from Everett.

19300 block 80th Avenue West: Police received a report of an iPad and sunglasses stolen from a vehicle.

July 21

8800 block Main Street: Police responded to a verbal domestic disturbance between a father and his 17-year-old daughter.

24100 block Highway 99: Narcotics were found by a commercial sweeper truck driver.

22100 block Highway 99: A person was arrested on a warrant and booked into Snohomish County Jail.

22200 block Highway 99: The manager of a local motel complained about a subject not registered as a guest coming onto the property and loitering. The subject was contacted and given a trespass warning.

300 block Dayton Street: Victim reported that someone had damaged one of the railings in front of the building during the night.

7600 block 212th Street Southwest: Police received a third-party report of a possible threat to the high school.

23300 block Highway 99: A woman was arrested for third-degree theft after a cell phone was stolen.

21600 block 76th Avenue West: Suspect assaulted medical/security staff at Swedish Edmonds.

21900 Highway 99: A woman was arrested for concealing merchandise in her bag.

7800 block 175th Street Southwest: Theft from a vehicle was reported.

July 22

8400 block 192nd Street Southwest: A stereo was stolen from a car while the owner was out of town on vacation.

8800 block 240th Street Southwest: A bicycle was found and placed in found property.

22511 block Highway 99: A woman was trespassed from Winco.

9800 block Edmonds Way: A man was trespassed from the PCC Edmonds store.

July 23

21900 block 82nd Place West: An ex-boyfriend knocked on the door of a residence repeatedly, waking up the reporting party at 6:30 a.m. because he wanted to see his children.

7600 block 193rd Place Southwest: A man pretending to be the victim’s grandson calls claiming he’s been arrested. The victim transfers $5,500 to the man, then learns it is a fraud.

23800 block Highway 99: A man armed with a knife robbed the Subway store of  $400-$500 in cash and fled. See related story here.

22200 block Highway 99: A man was found dead in a motel room. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner will issue a determination on cause and manner of death.

22000 block 94th Place West: A man with a history of mental illness yelled obscenities at neighbors without provocation.

21400 block Highway 99: A man exposed himself at a coffee stand.

250 5th Avenue North: Police received a ring that was found at the Edmonds Summer Market.

200 Main Street: A man found a suspicious package in his Post Office box and discovers suspected narcotics inside.

220th Street Southwest/Highway 99: A man was stopped for a traffic violation was arrested for driving with a suspended license and a warrant.

July 24

23600 block 84th Avenue West: Suspicious circumstances contact with a man led to his arrest for residential burglary.

300 block 2nd Avenue South: A woman called to report her husband was four hours late and believed to be lost.

21900 block Highway 99: A person’s ID was located in a parking lot and linked to a previous vehicle prowl from Woodway.

8700 block 182nd Place Southwest: A 22-year-old man violated a domestic violence protection order by going to his father’s house, which he is prohibited from being within 100 yards of. The man kicked in the door to the residence and entered, mad at his father for not giving him money for drugs and a motel bill.

18300 block Olympic View Drive: A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

21900 block Highway 99: An unknown suspect stole the rear license plate off the victim’s vehicle.

July 25

23900 block Highway 99: A man was arrested on a warrant.

500 block Maple Street: Police received report of theft from an unlocked vehicle.

19700 block 80th Place West: Victim reported that hood on car had paint scratched while parked at an unknown location sometime over the weekend.

900 block Main Street: Theft of a cell phone was reported.

8100 block 238th Street Southwest: A disturbance was reported at a bus stop.

400 block 3rd Avenue South: Theft of a bicycle is reported.

8100 block 185th Street Southwest:An unlocked vehicle was prowled with items taken.

23300 block 92nd Avenue West: A verbal argument was reported between a 16-year-old girl and her father.

23900 block 74th Avenue West: Unknown suspect stole new personal checks from a mailbox. Suspect later forged a signature and attempted to cash the check in another city.

6600 block 172nd Street Southwest: A mother got into a verbal argument with her daughter and son.

700 block 15th Way Southwest: A woman reported an unknown subject cashed a unauthorized check from her bank account.

8400 block 244th Street Southwest: An intoxicated man was trespassed from a local fast food restaurant.

16800 block 36th Avenue West, Lynnwood: Police assisted Lynnwood PD with an assault weapon call.

9500 block Firdale Avenue: A verbal argument was reported between two sisters.

July 26

Edmonds police assisted the City of Woodway with a car alarm. The homeowner was contacted; it was a false alarm.

  1. For the past few minutes, we’ve been listening to a helicopter circling over Edmonds. Is a search being conducted?

    1. Nope — it was KOMO regarding the 7-11 crash, although there was nothing to see as it was cleaned up hours ago.
