The family of Javanna Ensslin, a 13-year-old girl injured in a recent crash on Olympic View Drive, has started a Go Fund Me page to raise money for her care.

According to Go Fund Me information, Ensslin — a Brier Terrace Middle School student — survived the crash but sustained multiple severe injuries, including a shattered leg, two broken femurs, a broken arm, broken jaw and broken hips, among other injuries. She has already undergone several surgeries.

As of 4 p.m. on Thursday, the Go Fund Me has raised $555 toward her care.

Ensslin was one of three teenagers hurt in the crash. Two other teens, Zachary Langer and Noah Vires, died in the crash. A memorial of flowers and notes has been created near the crash site on Olympic View Drive.

  1. The highlighted GOFUNDME above in the article will link you to this girl. This is a tragic accident and this little one will have many surgeries and aches and pains for a long while. Let’s surpass the $5,000 for one of our own…

  2. What is the vehicle insurance situation? PIP insurance should help cover these medical needs and then the personal medical insurance on this injured person. The final insurance settlement is a long way off, but medical payment is usually the first in line.

    1. Someone who is in the health care field sent me a private message stating that even if there was PIP, it was all spent within the first day in the hospital.
