Pacific Little League’s 8-5 win Thursday sends team to state championship game

Pacific Little League defeated Redmond North 8-5 Thursday night to earn a berth in the championship game of the Washington State Little League tournament at 10 a.m. this Saturday, July 30 in Bellevue.

Trailing 5-3 in the 5th inning, Pacific took the lead on a three-run blast by Tyreek Curley, followed by back-to-back homers by Jacob Prinz and Jacob Gabler.

Pacific, whose home field is Lynndale Park in Lynnwood, will face the winner of Friday’s loser’s bracket game between Redmond North and Federal Way at Hidden Valley Fields. You can see the complete bracket here.
