Prep football: Warriors come from behind to hand Royals first loss of season

Facing a Lynnwood High School football team that was undefeated, Edmonds-Woodway overcame a 12-3 halftime deficit to defeat the Royals 21-18 at Edmonds Memorial Stadium.

Cappassio Cherry had two touchdowns for the Warriors (3-2) and Jackson Carr added two field goals. Quarterback Kameron Krall was 11 for 23 for 105 yards.

Lynnwood quarterback Alton Hammon went 9 for 14 for 125 yards, throwing a 14-yard pass to Andrew Warren and a 44-yarder to Ryley Johnson for touchdowns. Michael Kirkman also had a 3-yard TD run for the Royals (4-1).
