toy-shopThe annual Christmas Toy Shop at Edmonds United Methodist Church, which invites families in need to attend a one-day event where parents choose Christmas gifts for their children, would like your help in making a child’s Christmas brighter.

You can make a donation of time at the Toy Shop setup on Friday, Dec. 2, at the Toy Shop event on Dec. 3, or at the Alderwood Mall Sharing Tree. There is also a strong need for volunteers to help translate for Spanish and Russian-speaking families at the Dec. 3 event. Sign up for any of the volunteer opportunities online at www.edmondsumc.org/toyshop.

Donations of new or gently used toys and gifts are also accepted. Nring your donations to the Edmonds United Methodist Church lobby and place in the red barrel next to the office. Donations for specific children can be made through the giving tree inside the main church entrance. Just pick a tag from the tree and return the unwrapped gift with the tag attached to the red barrel in the lobby.

If you have questions, or would like to volunteer in other ways, contact the church office at 425-778-2119 or the Toy Shop Director Pamela Frank at 425-582-1732.
