Sculptors Workshop is hosting the second day of its
open house and biannual sale at the Frances Anderson Center, 700 Dayton St., rooms 210 and 211, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18.
Earlier this year, Sculptors Workshop members and guests created textured dishes with the intention of selling them to raise money for Washington Kids in Transition, which provides after-school meals and other assistance for kids in need. Look for the special display at the sale where 100 percent of proceeds will be donated to Washington Kids in Transition.
Sculptors Workshop was incorporated in 1967. The group has been located at the Frances Anderson Center since 1981. Janet Still, director of the sculptors of room 211, offers classes in sculpture and hand building. The potters of room 210 are a group of advanced potters and sculptors that work together as a co-op under the direction of Julie Perrine.
