Edmonds-Woodway High School wrestler Vatoria Keyes advanced to the regional girls wrestling tournament after finishing second in the district tourney Saturday.

Warrior Emily Hood placed 8th in the district competition: the top six advance to regionals. Raven Newman and Sara Hood also competed.
Coming in as the No. 2 seed, Keyes had two byes before pinning No. 7 seed Taya Phillips from Everett to advance to the semifinal. She then pinned No. 3 seed Eleanor Fair of Sedro-Wooley to advance to the championship match
In the final, Keyes lost by a pinfall to No.1 seed Chanel Siva of Stanwood.
