Two new hires for Edmonds-based Keyport

Edmonds-based seafood processing company Keyport announced two new hires this week.

Edmonds resident William Rogers will join Keyport as a business development manager for Keyport’s retail packaged seafood meals, while Gerry Brajcich has been hired as director of sales – national accounts.

Rogers was most recently the fresh sales director/key account manager with Icicle Seafood, Inc. (Cooke Aquaculture) and previously held positions with Icicle as a production and QC manager.

“Keyport is dedicated to expanding its product line and bringing more innovation to market. There’s a great opportunity for growth and I am excited to join the company,” Rogers said.

A Washington state native, Rogers holds a bachelors of science in natural resource management from Oregon State University. Prior to joining Icicle, he commercially fished for four seasons on a salmon boat in Alaska, where he learned about the seafood business at the boat level.

Gerry Brajcich

Gerry Brajcich comes to Keyport from Southern Fisheries in Miami, Florida. where he served as the vice president of retail sales. Prior to that served in the same position at Aquastar in Seattle.

Brajcich has over 30 years of seafood industry experience spanning time as captain of a commercial salmon fishing vessel to leading retail and food service channel sales for some of the most well known seafood companies.
