Local artists who participated in the recently published book, Art State: Washington are exhibiting their artwork for the month of May at Café Louvre, located at 210 5th Ave., in downtown Edmonds.
There will be an artist reception and book signing during Art Walk on Thursday, May 17 from 5-8 p.m. You’re invited to come meet the artists and pick up your copy of Art State: Washington, a tribute to 33 Washington state artists.
“Carl Brecht, oil painter, seems to be an Edmonds favorite,” said Art State: Washington publisher Lillyann Hendershot. “He spent one day painting in front of Café Louvre earlier this month and has already sold two paintings in the opening days of the show.
According to Hendershot, “there is something for everyone in this show, from Nancy Delgado’s realistic watercolors to Nancy Reid Isaak’s vivid color palate and Steve Jensen’s beautifully crafted steel vessels. Come in and take a look.”
