The Edmonds City Council will hold a special meeting tonight, Oct. 13, starting at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, to discuss the contract offer that Snohomish County Fire District 1 has made to provide fire services to the City of Edmonds.
While the next Council meeting would normally be on the third Tuesday — Oct. 20 — Council President D.J. Wilson said that a decision was made to hold a joint meeting tonight with Fire District 1 Commissioners to discuss the offer in more detail.
