Saturday, Oct. 17 is the Fifth Annual Halloween Howl at the Edmonds off-leash dog park, 498 Admiral Way, south of Marina Beach. Bring your dog between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and enjoy pet-friendly vendors and a silent auction. Judging in the popular doggie costume contest begins at 2 p.m. The event is sponsored by Off-Leash Area-Edmonds (O.L.A.E.)
Dr G. of Helping Hands Veterinary Clinic will provide microchipping for your furry friend at a reduced fee of $30, which includes a registration fee (a $60 value).
Anyone who would like to participate as a vendor or donate to the silent auction or raffle should email Lori@olae.org. Donations are tax-deductible and donors will be acknowledged at the event and in O.L.A.E’s Winter newsletter. Those wanting to volunteer at the event should email volunteerdogs@gmail.com.
Thank the Lord, we did not have rain. Special Thanks to all the sponsors and participants that braved the cold and gray weather. The sun actually came out during the doggie dress-up contest. Pictures of all the dogs will be available soon on the website http://www.olae.org.
