Wine tasting and movies with a message at Edmonds PCC

Did you know that our own Edmonds PCC Natural Market offers terrific community events, including weekly wine tastings on Thursdays? For just $5 per person, paid at the door, you get a 1-ounce tasting of each wine being sampled that night. The featured tasting for Thursday night, Oct. 8, is “IBERIA, AGAIN — Further evidence of Spain’s continuing enological renaissance!”

Reserve your spot by calling 206-547-1222 or e-mailing winetastings@pccsea.com. The tasting runs from 6:30-8 p.m., but you may arrive any time until 7:45 p.m., with the last pour at 8 p.m.  All attendees must be 21 or older.

Also mark your calendar for the Edmonds PCC’s Sunday, Oct. 25 screening of The World According to Monsanto, part of PCC’s Movies with a Message series  PCC Public Affairs Director Trudy Bialic will lead a lively discussion focusing on the issues pertaining to the movie. The free showing includes popcorn and beverages, and seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Since space is limited, the folks at PCC request that you arrive before the film begins at 5 p.m.
