“Stop the draft – and we’re not talking about the Army!” That’s the opening line for Sustainable Edmonds Facebook page announcing Part II of its Energy Efficiency Series from 7-9 p.m. tonight, Nov. 5, covering home weatherization and insulation projects.
This week’s presentation will be conducted by Snohomish County PUD and Puget Sound Energy representatives, who will explain not only what projects can be undertaken, but the basics of each project and how you can take advantage of the utility rebates and federal tax incentives for these projects.
The event will be held in the Port of Edmonds Conference Room, located at 336 Admiral Way on the Edmonds waterfront. Due to construction, attendees will have to either park on the street or in the lot on the far side of the Port of Edmonds Building. The conference room is at the rear of the building, on the second floor.
Admission is free but donations are welcome to Sustainable Edmonds, a non-profit citizens organization formed in 2008.
We stopped the draft in our house and added insulation in the walls and roof. What a change!
