Mark your calendars for next Thursday-Sunday, when the Edmonds-Woodway Players present “Ivanov.” The classic drama by Anton Checkhov will be performed by the play production class at Edmonds-Woodway High School.
Once a man of great influence and means, Ivanov has fallen into debt and out of love with his wife, Anna, who is slowly dying from tuberculosis. Spending his evenings away at the home of the Lebedevs amongst the idle and morally corrupt, Ivanov finds himself drawn to Sasha, the daughter of his wealthy friend, who appears determined to save him. What will become of Ivanov and Anna’s relationship? Will Ivanov find away out of his debt and depression? And what of Sasha?
Come see the show to find out.
