A family tradition continues on the Edmonds Fishing Pier, 336 Admiral Way, Monday night when the Christmas Ship docks in Edmonds for caroling at 7 p.m. Monday night.
The Edmonds stop is part of the Argosy Christmas Ship festival, a holiday celebration that has been a Northwest tradition for 60 years. Â Each night, the Christmas Ship sails to one of 45 different Puget Sound waterfront communities. The choir onboard for that particular night — in the case of Edmonds, it will be the Everett Chorale — sings a 20-minute performances that is broadcast via state-of-the-art speaker system, so that people onshore can sing along. From Edmonds, the ship will sail to Richmond Beach for a bonfire and caroling.
Refreshments will be provided courtesy of Petosa’s Family Grocer in Edmonds. The event is sponsored by City of Edmonds Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services, with support from Arnies Restaurant.
