Meadowdale’s boys and girls basketball faced teams from Kamiak Friday night and both came away with victories: the boys won 69-44 while the girls earned a 52-47 victory. Connor Hamlett was the high scorer for the Mavericks with 18, while Margreet Barhoum led all Lady Maverick scorers with 15.
Angela Woods and Selma Tanjo each scored nine points as Edmonds-Woodway beat Mariner, 61-31. The Warrior boys downed Mariner, 49-44. Josh Jordan had 18 points and 17 rebounds for E-W.
