Trailing 35-32 at the half, the Meadowdale girls basketball team outscored Edmonds-Woodway 25-17 in the third quarter and held on for a 73-67 home victory Wednesday night. Margreet Barhoum and Michaela O’Neill led the Lady Mavericks with 19 points each, while Sydney Donaldson and Amia Nash each had 17 for Edmonds-Woodway.
On Tuesday night, Edmonds-Woodway boys beat Meadowdale in swimming by a score of 129-41, while the Warrior wresting team defeated the Mavericks, 57-18.
