We are not making this one up! Edmonds police received a report of alleged animal cruelty involving frogs. On Dec. 3, someone complained that live skinned frogs were being offered for sale at Ranch 99 Market. Edmonds Animal Control investigated and it was determined that the frogs were indeed dead before being skinned and placed on ice, said Sgt. Don Anderson, department spokesman.
Other reports included the following:
Dec. 1, 21600 block of 81st Avenue West: Report of a yard statue stolen from a front yard overnight.
Dec. 3, 8500 block of 200th Street Southwest: Maplewood Elementary School reported graffiti and vandalism of metal sculptures at the school.
Dec. 4, 17100 block of 68th Avenue West: A parent reported that son became angry and kicked a hole in a closet door.
