What’s open and closed during the holidays in Edmonds

Transportation:

– Community Transit will be operating on its Sunday schedule on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day and there will be no commuter service. Regular schedules will be in effect on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. More info here.

– No Sounder service via Sound Transit on Christmas Day and New Year’s day. More info here.

Services:

– Banks will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

– Edmonds City Hall offices closed December 23-25, Snohomish County Offices closed December 24-25 and New Year’s Day.

– Edmonds Library will close on Christmas Eve at 3 p.m. and on New Year’s Eve at 5 p.m. and will be closed all day Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

– There will be no home delivery or post office services on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day.

Shopping:

– The Edmonds liquor store will close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

– Safeway on Highway 99 will be closed at 7 p.m. Christmas Eve, open 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Christmas Day, and will operate with regular hours on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

– Top Foods on Highway 99 will be closed at 7 p.m. Christmas Eve, all day Christmas Day, and will operate with regular hours on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

– Westgate QFC will be open with regular hours on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, and will close at 3 p.m. on Christmas Day.

– Petosa’s Family Grocer in downtown Edmonds will close at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve, 4 p.m. Christmas Day, 8:30 p.m. New Year’s Eve and will operate with regular hours on New Year’s Day.

– PCC Natural Market will be closed at 7 p.m. Christmas Eve, all day Christmas Day and will operate with regular hours on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
