The Lady Warriors scored yet another victory in Wesco league play Tuesday night, defeating Glacier Peak at home 77-53. Angela Woods scored 25 points to lead Edmonds-Woodway, while Madeline Kasper added 16. The team is now 7-1 in Wesco South and 9-1 overall.
In other girls’ basketball action, Meadowdale beat crosstown rival Lynnwood 74-51. Margreet Barhoum had 17 points to lead the Mavericks, who are 5-3 in league play (6-4 overall).
On the boys side, Connor Hamlett scored 28 points to lead Meadowdale to a 57-51 win over Lynnwood, while Edmonds-Woodway lost to Glacier Peak, 61-43.
