Mudslide south of Edmonds means no commuter trains

If you ride Northline Sounder and Amtrak RailPlus service between Seattle and Edmonds, you are out of luck for a few days, thanks to a mudslide south of Edmonds. For now, the following service has been canceled:

-Tuesday, Jan 19 for the afternoon commute

-Wednesday, Jan 20, for the entire day

-Thursday, Jan 21 for the morning commute only, although this could change depending on weather conditions.

Back-up bus service includes:

Seattle – Edmonds: Board Community Transit Route 404 at 4th Ave S and S Jackson St for service to the Edmonds Station. Extra CT buses will be available to reduce overcrowding.

Seattle – Mukilteo: Please board Community Transit Route 417 at 4th Ave S and S Jackson St for service to the Mukilteo Station.

Seattle – Everett: Chartered bus service will be available at 4th Ave S and S Jackson for direct service to the Everett Station. Riders may also board ST Express Route 510 at 4th Ave S and S Jackson St for service to Everett.
