The dog park in Edmonds will be getting a new bulletin board, thanks to the Lynnwood Pack 363 Webelos I and II.

O.L.A.E. (Off-Leash Area Edmonds) is a non-profit group that stewards the dog park. O.L.A.E. Board Member Shay Hastler and representatives from Lynnwood Pack 363 Webelos I and II met with Rich Lindsay of the City of Edmonds Parks and Recreation to plan this service project. The Webelos have been working very hard on this new bulletin, which will be used to inform and educate the users about the park.

The Den has been working on this bulletin board for the last month and will install it on Feb. 27 between 10 a.m. and noon. The boys, ages 9-11, each picked out their favorite dog and then practiced wood-burning the image. Everyone is invited to visit the boys at the dog park Feb. 27 to thank them for their efforts.
