This Friday is opening night for The Driftwood Players, when they present “Arcadia” at the Wade James Theater, 950 Main Street, in Edmonds.
Billed as an entertaining, poignant and inventive drama, “Arcadia” plays at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and a 2 p.m. Sundays through Feb. 21. The plot, according to the theater, is as follows: “Characters find meaning in their own lives as they try to solve a mystery of what happened between 1809 and 1812 as their present day counterparts investigate these events in 2010. ”
