The Edmonds Driftwood Players Alternative Stages spotlights two original plays by local playwrights at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 26-27, at the Wade James Theatre, 950 Main St.
The plays are:
“Crystal” by Machelle Allman: A homeless young woman with baggage to spare thrusts herself into Don’s apartment just as his own life is falling apart. Maddening, difficult, yet strangely familiar, she is everything he doesn’t need right now — or is he? “Crystal” is directed by David Bailey.
“Small World” by Keith A. Gehrig: Eight strangers (or are they?) stuck on a theme park ride. Who will survive? Who will be tossed overboard? Wanna take a ride? “Small World” is directed by Elizabeth Pelham
All tickets are $10. To purchase, call 425-774-9600 or buy online at www.driftwoodplayers.com.
