Edmonds fire calls

Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 312 calls the week of Feb. 18-24: 248 emergency medical aid calls, 23 fires, 20 motor vehicle collisions, five service calls, four natural gas leaks and one carbon monoxide alarm. The following were calls in Edmonds.

February 18

PEDESTRIAN HIT BY CAR. A pedestrian was hit by a car in a parking lot in the 7300 block of 212th St. SW in Edmonds at 12:53 p.m. The driver fled. The pedestrian was not seriously injured.

February 21

FIRE. Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire in an attached garage of a single-story home in Edmonds in the 800 block of Poplar Way at 11:32 a.m. No one was injured and damage was estimated at $8,500. Investigators determined the accidental fire was most likely started by a discarded cigarette.

FIRE. Firefighters quickly extinguished a small fire in a travel trailer outside a home in the 21800 block of 93rd Avenue West in Edmonds at 6:28 p.m.

FIRE. Firefighters responded to a car fire at 7:08 p.m. outside a home in the 9600 block of 215th Place Southwest in Edmonds.
