Edmonds-Woodway’s baseball team got off to a strong start in Wesco South league play Tuesday, scoring a 2-0 victory over Shorecrest High School on the Scots’ home field.
Winning pitcher was Derek Callahan; Brandon Lowe picked up the save. Joe Lopresti hit a two-run homer, while Austin Jones went 3-4 for the Warriors.
E-W faces Shorecrest again at home Thursday at 4 p.m.
