Edmonds Fire Calls

Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 390 calls the week of Feb. 25-March 3: 315 emergency medical aid calls, 23 motor vehicle collisions, 19 fires, two natural gas leaks, four service calls, 34 automatic fire alarms and three carbon monoxide alarms. The following were calls in Edmonds:

Feb. 25

PEDESTRIAN HIT BY CAR. A pedestrian hit by a car at 224th Street Southwest and Highway 99 in Edmonds at 2:33 p.m. was transported by firefighters to Stevens Hospital.

March 1

FIRE. Firefighters responded to a small fire at 5:40 a.m. at a home in the 8500 block of 216th Street Southwest in Edmonds. The residents safely exited the home and no one was injured. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, which was contained to a curtain and a small area nearby. Damage was estimated at $500.
