No Sounder service Friday afternoon due to mudslide south of Edmonds

Sound Transit reports that Northline Sounder and Amtrak RailPlus service between Seattle and Everett will not be available on Friday afternoon, March 12, due to a mudslide just south of Edmonds.

Here is the afternoon back-up bus service for Friday afternoon, northbound:

– Seattle-Everett: Four Starline charter buses will depart the 4th and Jackson at approximately 4:05 p.m., 4:33 p.m., 5:05 p.m. and 5:35 p.m. and will provide direct service to Everett Station.

– Seattle-Mukilteo: Board Community Transit Route 417 at 4th & Jackson for service to Mukilteo.  Note that there will be no charter buses or extra Route 417 buses to supplement service.

– Seattle-Edmonds: Board Community Transit Route 404 buses at 4th and Jackson for service to Edmonds. There will be no charter buses or extra Route 404 buses to supplement service.

Commuters are advised to check the Sound Transit website  for updates before beginning their commute on Monday, March 15.
