Here’s a fun summer camp idea for teens: The Driftwood Players is offering a summer teen musical: “RENT School Edition.”

First day of rehearsals will be July 5, and will run for three activity-filled weeks, concluding with three performances (Friday and Saturday evening and Sunday matinee) on July 23-25.  Some rehearsals will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., while others will be from 1-8 p.m.

Cost is $300, and a $100 deposit will be required to hold your place in the camp, and your entry into the show. Auditions will be conducted to  determine each camp participant’s role, but everyone who pays a deposit will participate.  The camp is limited to ages 14-18 and a cast size of 20-25 teens. Full tuition must be paid by June 1; full or partial scholarships are available depending on financial need. Contact dutch@heetbrink.com for scholarship information.
