Egg-citement in Edmonds

It was cold and cloudy but the rain stayed away as hundreds of children and their parents gathered at City Park in Edmonds Saturday morning for the city’s annual Easter Egg hunt. The Easter Bunny was available for photo opportunities, and Snohomish County Fire District No. 1 trucks were there to provide sirens to announce the start of each segment of the hunt, which was grouped by age.

In addition to traditional candy treats, those lucky enough to snag golden eggs could trade them in for bigger prizes.

Sponsors of this year’s egg hunt included Jack Perrault RE/MAX and Edmonds Parks and Recreation with support from Nama’s Candy Store, the Rotary Clubs of Edmonds and Snohomish County Fire District No. 1.
