Edmonds churches collaborate for weekend of food, music and faith

Two Edmonds churches — St. Alban’s Episcopal and the Church of the Beloved — are collaborating to present a weekend of activities featuring food, music and faith on May 14-15, according to John Leech, priest and rector at St. Alban’s.

Everyone is invited to “The Little Feast: a springtime celebration of creation, creativity, and the Creator,” which Leech describes as “a colorful mix of activities and also spiritual food” for all ages.

The “Little Feast” begins at 7 p.m. Friday, May 14, at Rosewood Manor, 8104 220th St. S.W., with a creative collaboration of musical, visual and culinary artists, featuring Tara Ward.

The celebration continues Saturday, May 15, at St. Alban’s, 21405 82nd Pl. W., with presenters Tom and Christine Sine of Mustard Seed Associates speaking on new growth in faith communities. Also featured is musician Eric Hanson from Seattle Pacific University, plus workshops on praying with icons, finding your voice, walking the labyrinth, art and movement, and the Talking Circle.

Register online or send a check for $12 to St Alban’s Church, 21405 82nd Pl. W., Edmonds, WA 98026.
