Some folks may find their perfect match through an online dating website, but that wasn’t the case in Edmonds recently when one of the parties called 911 from a Honey Bucket. That and more from the latest Edmonds police reports:
May 6:
9300 block of 244th Street Southwest: An ex-boyfriend pushed his way into his former girlfriend’s apartment and destroyed her television, then leaves. He returned and kicked in the door to retrieve his property, then departed again.
238th Place Southwest and 76th Avenue West: A juvenile male threatened his mother while the two were in a car, grabbing the steering wheel while the mother was driving, causing her to hit the curb and damage the vehicle.
May 5, 21600 block of 76th Avenue West: An unknown male called a doctor’s office and threatened the doctor with harm for refusing to take his insurance.
May 4: 7300 block of 213th Place Southwest: Two adult males forced their way into an apartment in an attempt to steal marijuana and money. After assaulting the female resident, they left with several of the victim’s electronics. The suspects later were arrested for robbery and second-degree theft.
May 3: 71 Main Street: Police arrested an adult man who was under the influence of alcohol and not able to safely drive his motor vehicle off a Washington State Ferry at 11:24 p.m.
May 2: 600 block of Admiral Way: A man and woman who met on a dating website were at an Edmonds beach. The man offered the woman marijuana, which she agreed to smoke. She started feeling funny and called 911 from a Honey Bucket. Her companion was arrested for drug paraphernalia and marijuana possession, then released.
May 1: 24100 block Highway 99: An adult female was arrested for shoplifting from Burlington Coat Factory after leaving the store with a purse stuffed with clothing.
