Those with military IDs to get discount at TOP Food & Drug

TOP Food & Drug stores are offering a 5-percent discount on grocery items each Tuesday from June 1 through July 6 to customers with military identification, which includes active-duty servicemembers, their spouses and retired servicemembers. The Edmonds’ Top Food store is located at Highway 99 and 220th Street Southwest in Edmonds.

Customers only need to show their military identification at checkout stands to receive the 5-percent discount on Tuesdays. Alcohol and tobacco products, lottery tickets, gift cards and stamps are among the items ineligible for the discount. Customers may ask for details at a store’s guest services counter or visit www.Top-Foods.com.

“As we approach the celebration of Independence Day, this is our way of thanking servicemembers and their families for their contributions to our country,” said Becky Skaggs, spokesperson for TOP Food & Drug.

Headquartered in Bellingham, Haggen, Inc. operates 33 supermarkets in Washington and Oregon under the TOP Food & Drug and Haggen Food & Pharmacy names.
