Edmonds home remodeling company Chermak Construction, Inc., was one of 87 U.S. remodeling companies that were named recent winners at the 17th annual Chrysalis Awards for Remodeling Excellence. The winning projects were selected from over 475 entries, which were judged on overall design, the creative use of space and materials, and the degree to which the project enhanced the original structure.
Chermak’s winning entry, a bathroom remodel in the $40,000-$60,000 category, includes a spectacular view of Mount Rainer. Chermak Construction has taken home top honors and this entry truly demonstrates their ongoing commitment to excellence, said Ken Kanline, director of the awards.
While the master bath went through significant changes — including moving most of the fixtures from one side of the bathroom to the other — all modifications took place within the existing footprint. Project design features include custom-built walnut cabinetry, elegant granite vanity countertops with mosaic glass backsplashes, thermostatically heated floors, and a jetted two-person tub with marble tub deck with a very private view of the mountain.
