The public is invited to say goodbye to Edmonds Mayor Gary Haakenson Thursday during a reception and program at the Edmonds Center for the Arts. Coffee, punch, cake and light refreshments (provided by Olives Gourmet Foods and Resident Cheesemonger) will be served in the lobby, and the program will begin at 5 p.m. in the theater.
All are welcome to stop by and wish the mayor well before he moves into his new position as Deputy County Executive with Snohomish County.
You are invited to make a donation to help organizers offset the cost of hosting this event. Make checks payable to Sandy Chase (City Clerk) and mail to: City Hall, 121 5th Ave. N., 98020.
