About two dozen Edmonds youngsters and their parents visited Edmonds Fire Station 20 Saturday morning to learn about bicycle safety, meet firefighters and tour fire engines at Snohomish County Fire District 1’s Ready to Roll Bike Safety Open House.

Ashley Bagstad, 8, showed up to have her bike inspected by firefighters and take a spin through the obstacle course. Ashley was accompanied by her friend, 10-year-old Ashley Hodka, and her mom, Cheryl Bagstad, who said she brought the girls over so they could learn how to ride safely on the road.

The obstacle course was a popular feature at the fire station.
